ROBERT STOWELL
The philosophy for EMG is to look at the quality of their roster and not the quantity. By doing this, we are able to give each artist the attention they need to have a successful career. Since we are also a talent buyers, we are also able to utilize artists on our roster for large events. If you are interested in booking an artist on our roster, please contact Shane Ellison at 903-752-1180 or by e-mail at shane@extrememusicgroup.com.
Growing up in the south, Robert would be the one found singing at family picnics and get togethers over the holidays even at the early age of 3. His dream... to make it to the "Big Leagues" as a Professional Baseball Player.
Being one to not let anything stand in his way, Robert made his way up the ranks to Double A Baseball with the Boston Red Sox when at age 22, his career was cut short sliding into second base during a game in Ashville, N.C. His ankle was broken, and that injury eventually led to extensive surgery. After his recovery, he was persistant in making his dream come true, and finally landed an opportunity to try out for the Minnisotta Twins. It was then that he realized that he was no longer going to make the cut.
His heart was broken, but not his spirits. For months, he wondered "What Now" until friends convinced him to take a shot at singing at a local karaoke club. When his performance drew a surprising uproar from the crowd, Robert finally felt what it was like to be in standing in the spotlight.
Robert says, "At that moment, a light bulb went on in my head. Maybe this is what I'm supposed to do!" And with that, Robert took off running with the same determination and charisma that at one time led him up the ranks of Minor League Baseball, but this time, not with a bat and glove... Just a microphone and his guitar.
Robert spent the next several months and years singing at fairs, festivals, bars, and even opening for the likes of The Bellamy Brothers and Chad Brock and soon made his way to Nashville to make new friends and start working with popular singer/songwriters Darryl Singletary and Dierks Bentley.
At the urging of friends in Texas, Robert made his way to the DFW Metroplex, and has since started making a new name for himself within the Texas Country Music community. After only 11 months in Texas, he has played with the likes of Brantley Gilbert, Colt Ford, Randy Rogers, Kevin Fowler, Roger Creager, Robert Earl Keen, to name a few, and even performed at the Texas Country Music Hall Of Fame. Robert has also been voted one of the top 5 Shows to see in Texas.
Robert has achieved great success, and continues to build upon his career with the release of his first major CD "Growin' Up Down South" featuring his most recent single "She Makes Dirt Look Good".
CHRIS ALLBRIGHT
Chris Allbright grew up in the small town of Bastrop, Texas where he pushed the walls and laws to the limits. His good hearted, yet wild energetic nature tended to keep him under the spotlight of the legal system. He spent most of his younger days helping a friend load sound equipment into beer joints throughout Bastrop County. The barrooms and classic country music began to set the mold. Barely out of high school, Chris joined the U.S. Navy. During his four year commitment he picked up a guitar and took it to sea. He returned home to Texas and moved to Waco where he met Nate Rodriguez and began to write heart felt songs of his younger wilder days.
The first single off of Chris' first full length album, "Heart of Stone" is called, "Talk to the Blues". It debuted onto the Texas Music Chart in it's fourth week after release.
